All individuals providing services to Maid-it Commercial Cleaning Service do so as independent contractors, not employees. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, licenses, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. All contractors or required to fill out W-9 Form and submit it on the portal, by email or in person.
Contractors will be assigned cleaning jobs based on availability, skill level, and location.
Jobs must be completed during the scheduled date and time provided.
Contractors must acknowledge receipt of each assignment and confirm availability.
Unauthorized job swapping or subcontracting is strictly prohibited.
Contractors must maintain a professional appearance at all times while on duty.
At Maid-it Commercial Cleaning, we believe that maintaining a professional appearance reflects the quality of service we provide. While contractors are independent and free to operate under their own terms, we kindly request the following attire guidelines while working at client locations:
Preferred Attire
Solid black or navy pants no shorter than knee height, work slacks or yoga pants.
Closed-toe shoes (preferably non-slip) no crocs
Clean, solid-color polo or t-shirt (White, gray, or Yellow)
We offer Maid-it branded t-shirts and polos for contractors who wish to represent the brand while on site. These items are optional and provided upon request as a courtesy to support a consistent, professional appearance.

Branded attire is not required and wearing it is voluntary.
Contractors are responsible for maintaining a clean, neat appearance during service.
This attire guideline is for branding purposes only and does not alter the independent contractor relationship.
Uniforms or dress code standards, if provided or required, must be followed.
Professional behavior is expected on every property—rude or inappropriate conduct may lead to immediate removal from the contractor list.
Jobs must be completed according to company standards and checklists.
Contractors are responsible for submitting completion forms, photos, and notes as required.
Repeated complaints, missed areas, or poor-quality service will result in warnings or termination of engagement.
Payments are issued weekly, following verification of completed services.
Payment may be withheld or adjusted for incomplete jobs or services requiring a return visit that is not fulfilled.
Contractors are responsible for providing a completed W-9 form prior to receiving payments.
Contractors may only access properties during the designated time frame.
All properties are monitored by video surveillance. Tampering with security systems is prohibited.
All doors and access points must be locked and secured before leaving a job site.
Contractors must not remove, use, or tamper with any personal items belonging to clients.
Personal belongings left in properties (including, but not limited to, jewelry, clothing, electronics) must be placed in a sealed bag and reported to the assigned supervisor immediately.
Contractors must communicate job issues, delays, or emergencies to their assigned supervisor immediately.
Direct contact with clients is not permitted unless specifically authorized.
Maid-it Commercial Cleaning Service reserves the right to discontinue assignments to any contractor at any time for violations of this policy, misconduct, repeated poor performance, or business necessity.
No warning is required prior to termination of assignments.
Contractors are required to sign a separate acknowledgment form confirming that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this policy.
